About Us

Established in 1902, Children’s Aid Society is honoured to be amongst the oldest philanthropic organisations running in Singapore. Through Melrose Home, we provide a nurturing ‘Home away from Home’ for vulnerable children and youth coping with adverse family conditions. With Melrose Care, newly opened in 2019, we aim to uplift vulnerable families in the community by extending specialised counselling, psychotherapy and psychological services to them.

We are more than 100 years old but we are not retiring anytime soon.  There is still much to do for the young ones we love and we must remain agile in responding to the increasingly complex challenges they face. We will achieve this through our Melrose Village redevelopment project – to provide a purpose-built ‘village’ concept facility that offers integrated residential care and therapy services for children and youth under one roof.

Be a part of our journey as we reimagine the concept of residential care and build innovatively for the next generation.

Be a Friend of Melrose Village!

As we strive to achieve our vision of a new and improved Melrose Village, we are appealing for your support to help us raise $13m by 2024 by making a recurring monthly contribution.

Your donation as a Friend of Melrose Village will encourage our wider community to support rebuilding one of Singapore’s century-old institutions and provide a better environment for children and youth to live, learn, heal and reintegrate with their families.
