13th International Conference on Child & Adolescent Psychopathology
Children’s Aid Society is pleased to be given the opportunity to present the work we do at the 13th International Conference on Child and Adolescent Psychopathology (ICCAP).
Hosted in Kuching, Sarawak, from 6-8 August, ICCAP is an interdisciplinary conference that brings together academics and social service practitioners from around the world to discuss the state-of-the-art information on various aspects of Child and Adolescent Psychopathology.
The delegation representing Children’s Aid Society consisted of Mr Frederick Low (Executive Director), Mr Alvin Chua (Manager, Social Care), Mr Tan Chun Kiat (Deputy Manager, Residential Care), Ms Cindia Toh (Case Worker), and Ms Evon Thong (Youth Worker). Congratulations to the team for a great job done and we are very proud of their accomplishments!
The research papers presented were:
– Introducing trauma-informed play therapy in a residential care setting: A Singapore experience
– Journeying through group art therapy for teenage girls in residential care
– Launching into late teens and preparing for adulthood in residential care: Through advocacy, empowerment and life skills development
– Positive adjustment and growth indicators: Beyond academic results and maladaptive behaviours
