Feature on Talking Point: Circuit Breaker – Can We Help The Vulnerable?

Alongside protection officers and social workers from various social service agencies, Mr Alvin Chua (Director, Melrose Home) shared on Talking Point about how Melrose Home is supporting our clients and families during this unprecedented crisis period

In addition to working on-site to engage with residents in the Home, our team of social workers routinely monitor and check-in on children and youth who are on extended home leave with their families through phone and video calls. It is important to regularly engage with the families to ensure they are coping well and staying on track with safety plans.

As a community, we have our part to play in supporting vulnerable groups and families as well. Do share the National Care Helpline (Tel: 6202-6868) to help anyone facing stress or anxiety caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. We’re all in this together!

Take care and keep well #SGUnited
