Introducing: Friends of Melrose Village

Introducing: Friends of Melrose Village

As Children’s Aid Society (CAS) heads into our 118th year of serving the community, we are excited to share news about our milestone project for Melrose Home.

Melrose Home (currently a 50-year-old building) will be undergoing a major transformation to grow into Melrose Village in the next few years! When completed, Melrose Village will span 3,500 sqm with purpose-built facilities offering integrated care & support services under one roof including:

  1. Small-group residential care for toddlers, children and youth (3-18 years old)
  2.  Hostel for older youths (19-21 years old)
  3. Counselling & therapy services for residents and the community
  4. Training & resource for practitioners

RAISING $12M AS A COMMUNITY BY 2022
To achieve this vision of a new and improved Melrose Village, we aim to raise $12m through this campaign by 2022, which is in conjunction with our 120th anniversary. The rebuilding project of Melrose Village will cost $16m in total.

We are thankful for all our partners and supporters that have played an integral part in our work over the years. As we continue to build a passionate & caring community together, we welcome everyone to be a part of this milestone project and be a ‘Friend of Melrose Village’.
