The alliance has evolved ever since the first Cheers stores opened in six Esso stations, and there are now 60 service stations islandwide with a FairPriceXpress or Cheers outlet. Both companies leverage on each other’s strengths, Esso in quality motor fuels supply, and FairPrice Group in supermarket and convenience store retail providing a wide range of fresh food and grocery items 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week.
To mark this momentous occasion, Esso and FairPrice Group have come together to reward their loyal customers with their various promotional activities and give back to the community over the coming months.
Started in 2012 by Esso and FairPrice Group, the Charity Car Wash event has been raising funds to support various voluntary welfare organisations with the help of partners and customers. Over the years, the initiative has supported organisations in the community including Lions Befrienders Service Association (Singapore), Children-At-Risk Empowerment Association (CARE), Disabled People’s Association and Children’s Aid Society and The Food Bank Singapore.
The Charity Car Wash will be back this year on 23 September, bigger than ever. Play your part in this 9th iteration by donating at least $20 to get your car washed.
All proceeds will go towards the Children’s Aid Society to help underprivileged children, youth and their families.
