We would like to inform you that, effective 1 May 2025, Children’s Aid Society has transitioned from a registered society to Children’s Aid Limited, a company limited by guarantee (CLG) with charity and Institution of a Public Character (IPC) statuses. With this incorporation, the society’s activities and assets will be transferred to the CLG.
A CLG is a public limited company for not-for-profit activities of national or public interest, such as charity work. It is registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore (ACRA) and governed by the Companies Act of Singapore. This transition will allow us to adopt a more formal and widely recognised organisational structure that strengthens our foundation for the future.
Please be assured that the nature of our objectives, vision and mission will remain largely unchanged and there will be no disruption of our services during the transition.
